As part of Operation Damayan, U.S. Marines and Sailors with the 3d Marine Expeditionary Brigade assist the Philippine Armed Forces with transporting civilians displaced by Typhoon Haiyan, Tacloban Air Base, 11 November 2013. U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific maintains significant capability forward deployed throughout the Asia-Pacific region ready to provide humanitarian assistance and disaster relief.
