U.S. Marines and Sailors with Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force - Native Fury 18 execute Exercise Native Fury in the United Arab Emirates, Jan. 21-Feb 9. Exercise NF18 is a Joint Chiefs of Staff directed, U.S. Central Command sponsored, I Marine Expeditionary Force executed maritime prepositioning force exercise conducted in the Marine Corps Forces Central Command area of responsibility. Native Fury is designed to train Marines and Sailors in crisis response through MPF operations and aims to increase proficiency, expand levels of cooperation, enhance maritime capabilities, and promote long-term regional stability and interoperability between international partners.
