U.S. Marine Corps Col. Keith A. Parrella, commanding officer, Marine Corps Embassy Security Group (MCESG) relinquishes command to Col. Kelly Frushour, oncoming commanding officer during a change of command ceremony at the MCESG headquarters on Marine Corps Base Quantico, Va., June 24, 2022. The mission of MCESG is to screen, train, assign, and ensure operational readiness, administration, logistical support and discipline of Marines for duty as Marine Security Guards (MSGs). MSGs provide support to U.S. diplomatic missions in support of the Department of State and the protection of personnel, classified material, and U.S. property.
