U.S. Marines with Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron (HMLA) 269 operate a forward arming and refueling point and fly AH-1Z Viper and UH-1Y Venom helicopters at Lamar, Colorado, Nov. 8, 2021. Marines with HMLA-269 trained in a cold-weather, high-altitude environment to increase proficiency in expeditionary advanced basing operations (EABO). HMLA-269 is a subordinate unit of 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, the aviation combat element of II Marine Expeditionary Force.
