Marines with 12th Marine Regiment conduct live-fire training with the MK153 Shoulder-fired Multipurpose Assault Weapon (SMAW) at Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan Sept. 26, 2019. The Marines of 12th Marine Regiment conducted multiple practice runs before conducting live shots and actively operated the MK153 SMAW to enhance and maintain confidence and ability to employ the weapon system.
