CAMP HANSEN, OKINAWA, Japan – Special Reaction Team Marines with the Provost Marshal’s Office practice transition shooting drills during an SRT familiarization range Nov. 8 aboard Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan. SRT Marines completed static, pivot shooting drills and shield and target identification shooting drills under the supervision of safety officers and line coaches. The SRT Marines are the Marine Corp’s version of SWAT. These Marines utilizes familiarization ranges to ensure their team is comfortable and familiar with their weapon systems.
