U.S. Marines with Company B, 3rd Reconnaissance Battalion, 3d Marine Division drives a UTV on and off a CH-53 Echo Super Stallion at LZ Phoenix, Camp Schwab, Okinawa, Japan, Aug 3. 2020.The training provided the Marines from 3rd Recon the opportunity to enhance their readiness conducting long-range reconnaissance and develop new techniques in the using light vehicles in conjunction with helicopters for rapid insertion.
