Marine Tactical Electronic Warfare Squadron (VMAQ) 2 is the last VMAQ squadron to be deactivated at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina, Jan. 23, 2018. VMAQ-2 will have their deactivation ceremony on March 8, 2019, after 44 years of faithful service. VMAQ-2 is assigned to Marine Aircraft Group 14, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing.
