U.S. Marines with 2nd Battalion, 23rd Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, conduct Military operations on urbanized terrain operations during a Fire Support Coordination Exercise as part of Integrated Training Exercise 1-25 at Range 220, Marine Corps Air-Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, California, Jan. 30, 2025. FSCEX is a live-fire training event integrating infantry battalion combat operations center functions, distributed artillery, mobile fire support teams, close air support assets, and electronic warfare support teams. ITX enables units to mobilize geographically dispersed forces for potential future deployments, increase combat readiness and lethality, and exercise Marine Air-Ground Task Force command and control of battalions and squadrons across the full spectrum of warfare.
