U.S. Marine Corps AH-1Z Vipers and UH-1Y Venoms with Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron (HMLA) 367, Marine Aircraft Group 39, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, conduct low light live fire training during National Training Center Rotation 23-07 at Fort Irwin, California, May 10, 2023. During the exercise, HMLA-367 supported the 75th Ranger Regiment and 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment as the sole rotary-wing fire support element, enhancing joint planning and execution of long-range assault force escort, deep and close air support, and direct-action raids.
