Marines and families honor Cpl. Jonathan T. Yale at his Military Entrance Processing Station in Fort Lee, Virginia, April 20, 2017. Cpl. Yale died on April 22, 2008, when he and a fellow Marine thwarted a terrorist bomb attack. Both posthumously received the Navy Cross for their actions.
