U.S. Marines with Marine Wing Support Squadron (MWSS) 272 repair a damaged airfield at Marine Corps Outlying Landing Field Oak Grove, North Carolina, Dec. 9, 2023. Throughout Operation Potomac Enforcer, combat engineers with MWSS-272 conducted airfield-damage repair and base recovery after-attack operations while operating under the distributed aviation operations construct.
