There has been a significant rise in head injuries in children and adults riding bikes or skateboarding on Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California. As the summer season approaches, base officials are reminding parents of the importance of wearing a helmet and being aware of your surroundings while riding bikes, skateboarding or rollerskating.
