The Single Marine Program Working With Yuma Community Food Bank
Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron-1
March 17, 2016 | 1:44
U.S. Marines of Marine Corps Air Station Yuma participate in a Single Marines Program(SMP) event
in Yuma, Ariz. on 16 March 2016. The SMP worked with the Yuma Food Bank to harvest fruit from the
farm of Ed Quimby & Juanita Carter to be donated to local food pantries within Yuma County and
surrounding counties. The Single Marines Program exists to improve the Quality of Life for Single
Marines and Sailors, and to provide community service opportunities to integrate the Marine Corps into
the local community. (U.S Marine Corps Video By Cpl Conner Robbins / Released)
