The Marine Corps Studies System Has Resumed
We Paused and We Are Done!
Thank you for your patience as we engage the tasking from the Commandant and the DC CD&I to build an Analytic Master Plan–Marine Corps (MARADMIN 172/25). We have built our FY26 Interim Plan per the guidelines of the AMP-MC charter for the pilot program year. More information will follow about those studies.
We Need to Hear from Marine Leaders
While AMP-MC will provide the vehicle for building annual analytic plans, we need input from the Fleet, HQs elements, and our traditional stakeholders about what analysis is needed in the next fiscal year. This will be a year of adjustment, and we will counter the issues that accompany change by adapting our process to be more responsive and communicating about them as we go.
We Have Information to Share
In order to provide more information about both AMP and MCSS, we have provided several briefs linked below to help navigate the analytic landscape. There will be process improvements to come, and we appreciate your patience as we grow. Those changes will be posted here and our SPO site for those who have CACs (link below).
AMP-MC Information
The AMP-MC brief is an overview brief at this time. This brief will provide the basic outline of what AMP-MC is and how it will work. Keep in mind this is AMP-MC, not AMP-OAD or AMP-CD&I. Check out the “Who’s Who" slide in the brief to see who is doing the work and who is being supported. MCSS Information
For the MCSS of the future, we will be keeping the submissions portal open continuously unless posted otherwise. We are renaming it as a question submission portal (vice nomination portal) because while we will be considering questions to become studies, some questions will be addressed by the AMP. The determination between the two will be defined by the combination of availability of resources on hand, the Campaign of Learning activity needed to answer the question (Study? Wargame? Exercise?), and the complexity of the question. The submission guide can be found on OAD's SharePoint site at https://usmc.sharepoint-mil.us/sites/DCCDI_OAD (CAC-enabled).
Submit Analytic Questions via the Portal
There is information about how to submit these questions in the brief below. Link to the portal is also below. Problems? Contact OAD Ops. We are here to help.
