U.S. Marine Corps F/A-18 Hornet aircraft with Marine All-Weather Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA(AW)) 224, Marine Aircraft Group 31, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing arrive at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, May 18-19, 2024. VMFA(AW)-224, the “Fighting Bengals”, are the current Unit Deployment Program squadron to Marine Aircraft Group 12 and traveled from Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni as a part of the Aviation Training Relocation Program to exercise the fighter squadron’s capabilities across diverse environments in the Indo-Pacific region.
