Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany
May 15, 2014 | 4:43
Nine assault amphibious vehicles and their crews of Marines sped, one by one, down the ramp of a Maritime Prepositioning Force ship May 15, 2014, and into the Marine Corps Support Facility Blount Island Command slipway adjacent to the St. John's River, Jacksonville, Florida, testing the operational capabilities of the AAVs. This marks the first time in several years that tracks have splashed from a Maritime Prepositioning Force ship. Available in high definition.
