HMH-466 FARP
1st Marine Aircraft Wing
April 24, 2020 | 3:19
U.S. Marines with Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 466 (HMH-466), conduct a Forward Arming Refueling Point (FARP) on Ie Shima, Japan, April 24, 2020. HMH-466 used two CH-53E Helicopters to refuel multiple UH-1Y Helicopters. The ability to perform a FARP exercise significantly improves the operational flexibility, survivability, and lethality of the Marines and aircraft of 1st MAW. (U.S. Marine Corps video by Lance Cpl.
