Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego
Jan. 16, 2018 | 1:36
Staff Sgt. Jose M. Roviratorres, drill instructor, Instructional Training Company, Recruit Training Regiment, is trained as a Marine Corps Instructor of Water Survival at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, and he uses his training to teach recruits how to pass their swim qualification. The qualification is a graduation requirement, so the recruits must pass the test before advancing in training. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego.
