Lance Cpl. Coty Cortez, an avionics technician with Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 352 and Midwest City, Okla., native, and Cpl. Christopher Adams, a hydrolics mechanic with Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 11 and Tuxbury, Mass., native, share their experiences as leaders through the Miramar Young Marines program. Cortez and Adams have both been highlighted by Maj. Gen. Steven Busby, the commanding general of 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, for their display of committed and engaged leadership qualities.
