U.S. Marines with Kilo Company, Battalion Landing Team 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, fire their weapons at targets during a short-range marksmanship qualification course aboard the dock landing ship USS Rushmore (LSD 47). The marksmanship course focused on improving Marine’s ability to work in pairs during combat shooting rehearsals, which prepares them for potential operations while deployed with the 15th MEU.
