U.S. Marines with II Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF) Support Battalion, Information Group, conduct fuel berm checks during MEF Exercise 21.1 on Fort A.P. Hill, Virginia, Oct. 29, 2020, in an effort to protect the surrounding ecosystem from petrol waste produced by equipment usage. MEFEX 21.1 is designed to enhance the interoperability and command and control between II MEF command element staff and its higher, adjacent and subordinate command headquarters.
