III Marine Expeditionary Force
Nov. 23, 2016 | 1:02
Combat Lifesaver is a course designed to teach Marines how to save someone’s life in a combat environment. During the three-day class, Marines learn how to insert an intravenous (IV) device, apply tourniquets and regulate a person's respiratory system. The Marines are with 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, which is a forward deployed unit from Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii, to 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force based in Okinawa, Japan. Note: Video contains simulated training content. (U.S. Marine Corps video by Cpl. Jessica Etheridge/Released)
