U.S. Marines with Marine Wing Support Squadron (MWSS) 271 practice breaching and setting explosives during Field Exercise (FEX) 1-24 at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Oct. 22-24, 2023. Combat engineers with MWSS-271 trained in clearing, breaching, and airfield-recovery operations using distributed aviation operations and distributed command-and-control tactics during FEX 1-24.
