Marines with Marine Barracks Washington commemorated the 75th anniversary of the end of WWII in the Pacific with a Sunset Parade at the Marine Corps War Memorial, Sept. 2nd, 2020. The hosting official for the evening was Lt. Gen. Charles G. Chiarotti, deputy commandant installations and logistics, and the guest of honor was Col. Louis J. Schott, USMC (Ret.) 100-year old veteran of WWII and the battles of New Britain, Pelilieu, and Okinawa. (U.S. Marine Corps Video by Sgt. Jason Kolela)
