Marines, Sailors and friends attended a deactivation ceremony for Marine Expeditionary Brigade-Afghanistan aboard Camp Pendleton, California, Jan. 9; symbolically closing another chapter in Marine Corps history following the 13-year-long conflict known as Operation Enduring Freedom.
