3rd Marine Aircraft Wing
Jan. 28, 2023 | 7:53
U.S. Marines with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 161, Marine Aircraft Group 16, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing (MAW) conduct an air-delivered, ground refueling exercise at Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center, North Andros, Bahamas, Jan. 28, 2023. This exercise demonstrates 3rd MAW’s ability to quickly and efficiently perform ground refueling regardless of location. MV-22B Ospreys have the capacity to transport the equipment and materials to establish forward arming and refueling points in forward deployed environments, supporting Marine Air-Ground Task Force expeditionary advanced base operations capabilities.
