Marine All-Weather Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA(AW)) 224, Marine Aircraft Group (MAG) 31, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing (MAW), and VMFA-121, MAG-12, 1st MAW, conduct flight operations at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, May 22, 2024. VMFA(AW)-224, the “Fighting Bengals,” are based out of Marine Corps air Station Beaufort, South Carolina and currently augment MAG-12 the Unit Deployment Program squadron. VMFA(AW)-224 and VMFA-121, MAG-12, 1st MAW, are training in Guam as part of the Aviation Training Relocation program to enhance interservice capabilities and to sustain high operational readiness in the Indo-Pacific.
