U.S. Marines with Special-Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force Crisis Response-Africa trained alongside Army Green Berets in Baumholder, Germany, July 6-10, 2015. The Marines flew from Naval Air Station Sigonella, Italy, and completed an embassy reinforcement at a training area in Baumholder. The training allowed the Marines to test their ability to rapidly launch a crisis response force and secure an embassy during a time of crisis. They also joined with Army Green Berets and completed a series of combat marksmanship and close-quarters combat exercises to increase their ability to operate side by side.
