Joseph Germano, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who served in the Battles of Iwo Jima, Okinawa and operations in the Philippines gives an interview in Tumuning, Guam March 21, 2019. Germano is one of a dozen WWII veterans who will take part in the 74th Reunion of Honor, March 23 on Iwo To. The reunion remembers veterans who fought for their respective countries on Iwo-To's hallowed ground. Their sacrifice inspired peace, security and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
