U.S. Marines with 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing and Merchant Mariners onload aviation support equipment onto Military Sealift Command Wright-class aviation logistics support ship SS Curtiss (T-AVB 4) on Naval Base San Diego, California, March 13, 2023. The Curtiss will function as an aviation logistics and sustainment platform to support aviation combat elements, demonstrate and validate expeditionary advanced basing operations and experiment with T-AVB capabilities during Exercise Immortal Warrior.
