U.S. Marine Corps poolees and recruiters all over Maryland, Delaware and the Washington D.C area came together at Aberdeen Proving Grounds for a statewide pool function April 26, 2014. The event served two purposes for the participants by preparing them for life at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, S.c., and building camaraderie and physical fitness of the poolees prior to their leaving for recruit training.
