2nd Combat Engineer Battalion Leads Marines, Sailors to New Home
II Marine Expeditionary Force
April 21, 2016 | 1:02
Marines with 2nd Combat Engineer Battalion made history by conducting a battalion hike to commemorate a new command post at Camp Lejeune, N.C., April 21, 2016. Following the 12.6 mile movement to contact, 2nd Marine Division commanding general, Maj. Gen. Brian Beaudreault, along with the battalion commanding officer, Lt. Col. Gary A. McCullar, cut down a concertina wire fence to “breach” open access to the new facility.
