Teachers, coaches, and media representatives from the Chicago, Indianapolis, St. Louis, and Oklahoma City areas participate in the week-long Educators’ Workshop at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Calif., July 18,, 2024. On day three, the attendees learn about education benefits in the Marine Corps and Marine Corps history, attend a panel with new Marines, observe a water survival demonstration, and increase their confidence at the rappel tower. EWS is designed to inform high school/college educators, community leaders, and communication professionals about the commitment and benefits of service in the U.S. Marine Corps.
